Lapbook Lessons

This is a calendar I made for my Parents-In-Love (my husband's parents), for Christmas :D It is not bound yet...
Not sure where I should post it... would love to see others "made with love" Christmas gifts!

Loni....that is very impressive! I have some empty already bound calendars that I bought for this exact activity and you have moved me to get going on it. Thanks for the encouragement. Blessings, Naomi

I absolutely love your calendar. Now that we have started lapbooking I realized I need to pull out all my scrapbooking stuff back out that I haven't had out in years. I knew it would be useful again sometime. I love that I can use all the same stuff and most creativity does come from scrapbooking I can see in most of lapbooks.

Anyway, I would love to know about the paper you used and did you just use scrapbooking stuff you had or print and create the monthly theme items? Also, how are you attaching together? You have a binding machine?

Great job though, I love it and would love to make hand made items for gifts. I think they are the ones that are priceless and will truly touch someone.

Thank you for sharing,
Michelle

that's really nice, loni! my girl is making a calendar almost like yours--only where you've done scrapbooking, she's drawing a picture for each month. we're going to bind it with little metal rings...how will you bind yours?
thanks for sharing that!

That is a really nice calandar I cheat and order mine from Snapfish.com I am not that artistic or creative. My son and I are making monogramed key chains for the family from him for Christmas. We found the idea in the Family fun Mag. I am looking forward to making them. I will post when we do.
