My son and I just finished a unit on the String Family last week. He had a lot of fun learning about these wonderful instruments and their history (so did I). I got all the ideas and printables for it from
Pamela over at
Joyful Songs. We did a lapbook for it and here's the pics below...

This is the poster of a bible verse. I put an extension on the lapbook and glued it on there although it could have also been used as a puzzle.

Finally here are the pics of the file folder game that goes with this. It's called Stringo Bingo. First you will see the cover which has the game rules and title on the side tab. Next you see the pockets the playing pieces are in (playing boards and markers as well as the calling cards). I plan to laminate the calling cards so they will hold up for long term use.
