NC State History Scrapbook Project

We have been building up with one subject a week for the past four weeks. This week we start North Carolina History. I have one boy in the fourth grade and one in the eighth. In North Carolina public schools those are the years for NC studies. I also have a seventh grader, but he might as well get it over now with the rest of us.

I have worked hard to organize our materials. I've put up my plans and all the sources of information the boys will need on a Squidoo Lens made just for them, and any one else that might be interested!

We are also making mini-books here and there for a big future lapbook a little down the road yet about mammals. We are using Lyrical Life Science and on lesson #2 - Marsupials. We made two little mini-books about these interesting mammals. I'll hold on to them until we are closer to the end of our lessons to make one huge lapbook on Mammals.
