Every Sunday while here in the States we visit one of our supporting churches for their services. My husband gives a report of our recent term of missionary service and preaches. The sermon he has been using in most of our meetings involves dressing one of our boys in a typical Northeastern Brazil leather cowboy outfit. The two older boys take turns being the mannequin. Sometimes my husband teases that truly they are not "man-ne-quins, " but rather "boy-a-quins" since they're not quite men yet!
We have about three months left of our time in the States. The boys have done well in "real school" as they have been attending a small Christian school while here. It seems to have been a good decision for all. I hope to attend a homeschool convention later this month to purchase some items for our next term. It's a real chore trying to get everything a person needs to homeschool three curious boys for four years! I'm trying not to stress out about it all and just take what we need the most and worry about the rest later on. Thankfully in this day of high-speed Internet, many resources are available to us even in the middle of nowhere that were never there before.
Happy Homeschooling!
