Lapbook Lessons

This is my daughters absolute favorite lapbook to date. She keeps pulling it out and adding to it. We have even started our own Milkweed garden for the Monarch Butterfly. I actually went out and purchased four Butterfly Bushes for our yard. Most of the materials used for this lapbook were found at www.homeschoolshare.com .

I forgot to mention that you won't need the tape :) Just folders & scissors!

We are working on the Butterfly Lapbook as well. Our book looks similar with flip "pages". We used 4 file folders and made it into a bound book following instructions at Live and Learn Press. Here is the link for the video. http://liveandlearnpress.com/extras.php -- under movies, click on Bound Book to watch the video. We love the lapbook folders, but for ease of use and full views on each page, we have used this method a couple of times.

We connected them with double sided tape around the edges. We do go through a lot of the tape ;-) The other day I found six packages for .99 cents each and I felt like I hit the jackpot!

Wow! That is huge, I can tell she really enjoyed the topic! It's so much fun when they love learning isn't it

So how did you connect all the folders together?
