Back to School Lap Flapping

Well, we started school this past Monday. And everyday we lapflapped for at least 30 minutes. Once the children gather around the table and start their lapbooks, they just don't want to stop. I forgot to take pictures! I will have to remember to do that in the next few days. We are in a hurricane watch now in Florida. It is supposed to pass right over us. Please pray for our surrounding counties to be safe. But we are praising the Lord for the rain! So a picture might have to wait until after that.
My husband has asked that our children gather around on Friday nights to have a show and tell instead of watching a movie. He is excited to hear of all the things they are learning together. They are all are learning the same unit study and yet everything will be a little different. Each child has their own perspective and it is fun to see and hear.

How many children do you have? You sound pretty busy. I have three boys, the oldest just stated Kindergarten! This is our first year to homeschool.
