Daddy's Heart Scare...and Prayer Request

Yesterday was a bit crazy around here. I received a call from mom that daddy was being rushed to the hospital with chest pains and breathing difficulty. The hospital set him up on the cardiac progression wing, whatever that is I don't know. They ran a million tests...blood, electrocardiogram, CT of his heart, and some new fangled treadmill test. The verdict is, please pray for him. It looks like he had a heart attack, but not necessarily yesterday and his arteries are clogged. They gave him medicine and in two weeks they are testing as to whether he needs heart surgery. Please pray for complete healing for my daddy. He is 68 yrs old and has bad lung problems, so adding heart problems sounds rather scary to me. He was a smoker for 40 yrs but has not done so for 8 years or so. I know that with God's strength anything is possible. His name is Tom Johnson, if you pray by name. Thank y'all for your support.

Praying, I care for my Mom so I understand the scares. She had 2 strokes a little over a year ago and is now wheelchair and bedbound. Any updates on your Dad? Pat
