Lapbook Lessons

Well, after a lot of time and effort, my IHP and letter of intent to homeschool are IN and ACCEPTED! That had been occupying most of my time, along with working. And, because anything we started before June 17 (AG's last day of first grade) wouldn't count for next year, lapbooking went on hold. So, with my school year starting June 23- we have started up again. We will only have school 2 days a week for the summer. One day will be science- taking adavantage of the insects, stars, planets, plants; and the second day will be Reading/Spelling/Phonics. We have vacations planned in the mix too. One of them being in September (after schools start). Without the time contraints of school, we now have that luxury!! How COOL!

So, our new lapbooks will be posted soon!!

Wonderful to have all your paperwork in and be ready to go! Sounds like you've got some great topics to cover this Summer.....I'd love to do a lapbook on the Solar System soon!

Can't wait to see your photos!

Blessings,

Valerie

That's wonderful!!! It's good to start of slow. A nice relaxing pace over the summer will help control burnout. :)

Oh it does feel so good to get all the paperwork done, doesn't it? I have our yearly evals still looming over our heads lol. It is super to have the option of going on trips whenever they present themselves...just one of the many bonuses of homeschooling.
