Ye have not because ye ask not...so we're askin

On Monday we are starting a new science curriculum, Exploring Creation with Zoology 1: Flying Creatures of the Fifth Day, I was trying to wait till school started in the first of August, but most of the insects will be gone...besides, the insect we want to observe over the summer dies out about Oct, and we want to observe it for at least four months...so here we are starting it on Monday and we are so excited. I did a search on purchasing a live Mantis via the internet and those babies start at $10.00 and can go as high as $100.00+...for an insect that is only going to last maybe through Oct? No, so now we are asking Yah/The LORD to send us a Mantis and to bless us to capture and keep it alive so we can observe it through it's life span. I'll post when we get our Mantis...we are soooo excited!

This Mantis was $25.00

this Mantis was $100.00

This mantis was $50.00

Oh I'm so excited for ya'll! What a great testimony, we know God hears even our smallest cries! I hope that you're children are able to learn about God's glory, and creation of these wonderful creatures!

Praise God, and what faith you have to share!

Blessings,

Valerie

Mannie is not a bit shy! I opened the door to his cage and out he came, when I put my hand in front of him, he walked right up on it...up my arm...towards my face....eeek....I put my other hand up to him and he LEEPED off....down to the floor...I quickly scooped him up and put him in his cage...whew...I thought this type of mantis was docile...NOT! LOL

Oh, wow! He is amazing! Even the "small" things. Wow. He looks upon us with such loving care. I had a similar testimony with apartment hunting recently. I had this list of "must haves," of course (size, rooms, environment, etc.). But down in my heart I had a secret request, "Lord, let there be a window above the kitchen sink and let me see green outside." He did it! It's perfect!! How wonderful!

Thanks Val for agreeing with us and continuing to pray with us...

Praise report! Yah gave us our Mantise, we call him Mannie, if we find out it's a female we will call her Maddie. My friend who lives in the country, called today and said they caught a Mantis for us...she said she was just leaning over the porch, looked down and there it was on a large green leaf. She said she didn't know how she saw it because it blended in so well with plant...it was just Yah as his goodness toward us...Blessed be the name of YHWH!

Wowsa! Who knew a bug could cost so much? I mean, a mantis is a totally cool insect, but $100?? Father will provide. He made them and will give them to you for free!
