Time Line & Paper Dolls

I've been very busy these last few weeks...preparing for the upcoming school year. We've add to our school curricululm 'The Mystery of History'. This history curriculum has a 'timeline' activity in which you cut out historical people both biblical and secular and add them to your time line. A Change of Plans...it's homeschooler's progitive, isn't it?

Well, there has been a change of plans, we had planned on starting our zoology curriculum this week, but we've changed it to the first or second week of August. I was going to purchase the zoology 1 lapbook, however, when I looked at the samples I thought, 'wow, I believe I could make these...' well, with the help of some great ladies @ homeschoolshare yahoo group, I am now in the process of creating mini books for a "FREE" Zoology 1 Lapbook. Ye have not because ye ask not...so we're askin

On Monday we are starting a new science curriculum, Exploring Creation with Zoology 1: Flying Creatures of the Fifth Day, I was trying to wait till school started in the first of August, but most of the insects will be gone...besides, the insect we want to observe over the summer dies out about Oct, and we want to observe it for at least four months...so here we are starting it on Monday and we are so excited. Best Day Ever...

My husband said this was the best Father's Day ever...wow, each year we buy him a card and gift and cook a special dinner. This year was different the girls made him a lapbook, duct tape wallet, and a treat bag; who would have ever guessed that it was hand made gifts that touched their daddy's heart, he actually teared up... He has set the lapbook with the wallet next to his lunch bag to take to work with him in the morning, he said he was so proud that he wanted to share it with his co-workers.… Continue

New Pics Posted

So I've added new pics to my photos and am starting a new photo album...it's still in the making because it's our Father's day lapbook. On 'My Page' I've add a photo slide of the girls as they were working on the lapbook. We had to stop because dad came home. I also found a Father' Day Treat Bag that I've decided we'll use instead of the 'Survival Kit'...the 'treat bag' is much cuter. And finally I'm thinking about buying a wooden h… Continue

Learning as I go...

Well, as you can see I have add a few things to my page...this is very new to me and I'm really excited about the slideshows I added. I have also added pics and albums. The girls are working on their Father's Day lapbook and I'll be posting pics later.
