For those of you who are faithfully praying for this little boy and his family. The latest news is that he is off life support, but other than that there is little change. He basically in an unsupported coma. Your prayers are most valuable as we pray that when he wakes up his brain will be fully repaired and functioning as it should. I know that OUR GOD is able!
Thankyou everyone.
In Him,
Caroline.

Please keep praying. Last I heard there was 'no change' but that was about a week ago. He was still on life support and not conscious at this point. I am waiting on another friend to keep me posted and as I know I will post here too.
Thankyou all for your lifting up of this little lad before Our Father.
Many Blessings to you all

I have a friend who's little boy of 5 is in a critical condition. They live in the countryside and about a week ago the children were out playing. They went near a field they had been told not to go near and the little lad had a farm gate fall on him. The little girl ran back to get my friend (Mum), who fortunately had another friend with her at the time who is a Dr, but when they got to the lad he was not breathing and had no heartbeat. They did resuscitate him, but he is now on life support an…

All the older four children made this together. It was great fun and lots to learn - as well as providing us with a perfect future 'hands-on' resource.
All the material came from
THIS book and was adapted a little by me to make it work for a flat-book ;)

I've been putting my ABC Lapbook over on the
LapNotes page - it's easier to update and 'tweak' from there as I have noticed things that don't quite work in the making. I can edit the files there and update them which is so much easier than the 'share your lapbook' page. I think you will all find it nicely organised over in LapNotes. Valerie is building an
'index' page…

The files for s are up on the 'share you lapbook' page.
Just wondering how anyone is doing with this? Is anyone using anything from it, or doing the whole thing with me?
I have to get more printer ink this week, that's why there's no more pictures atm, but my girlie is loving it and now that school is out - well as of tomorrow - I shall be taking more time to spend with her :)
Just if anyone was interested... I found
Phonic…

My wonderful hubby was ordained last Monday at the Annual Elim Conference in Prestatyn. The baby didn't last the evening out (suprise) but was awake when we went up on the stage - to the sound of many an "oooh!!" as the children trooped up behind Paul :)
It was a very special occasion we shall never forget.

- what an honour!! Member of the month, I am humbled - and chuffed ;-) And in case anyone was racing through my ABC lapbook fater than us (we are still on H) I AM still working on it. It's harder to find the time in term-time and this last half-term holiday we were away and mad-busy for the whole of it, so no opportunity there either. I have 'O' nearly ready, but I will try to get cracking on it again asap...meanwhile - THANKS! :-)

E (4) made a start on her ABC lapbook today (the other girls were out so it was a perfect chance for some Mummy time). She is so keen to learn atm. So we did our Aa pages and she loved it - she loves cutting and sticking so it doesn't get much better than this!! She even managed to hear & sort the different sounds of a, ai and ah - which suprised and pleased us both. At bedtime she was able to air-draw an 'A' for Abigail and an 'a' for ant, so that indicated to me that several hours later sh…

I'm working on a 'English' (i.e. UK) ABC Lapbook atm. I will post up the A-D pdf files later on lapbook share later today. I must confess that I got the idea from www.homeshoolshare.com but a lot of the material there is American and, as in the UK, we have different labels for things (e.g. cookies = bisuits) they therefore don't match up phonetically. So I have made some of my own to do with my 4yo. The basic assembly idea is the same though - 4 mini-books per page. 26 pages (pieces of card). As…

Our current project (we tend to call our lapbooks and such-like 'projects') is GREECE. We use Diana Waring's History curriculum as a framework, but when we come to major civilisations we take a stop for a while and expand our horizons. So currently we are looking at Greece We are using EMC's History Pockets as a tool and are finding it good fun. So strictly speaking this is not a lapbook, but it will form a 'book' of pockets with lots of info and goodies in in the end. Look out for the photo's w…

Hi Everyone.
This will simply be a place to link to my lapbooks. We have made a few - both from bought patterns and from home-design (and from mixes of the two!). I hope you all enjoy and glean some inspiration from browsing them. I probably won't post our past books here as it would take hours to haul all the photos over (but you will find links), however I will try to post our future ones here (and there).
HAVE FUN!
