Our Little Laplinks theme this month is Bugs and Bees, so we've decided to work on ABC's of Bugs and Insects. However, I'm having a little trouble coming up with a few of the letters! Some of them like Q and X are escaping me...I'd like to stick to bugs or insects ( and not do something like Quiet for Q).
So if you've got a knack for finding interesting bugs (that wouldn't repeat any of the others that I have listed) please let me know! You can see what I've got so far for the different letters…

While using Galloping the Globe for my youngest RyLee, we studied about insects in the first chapter, or section in the book. So she chose a few insects to learn about more indepth and we went out on a limb and on our own and we created this Insect lap book. She was 8 or 9.

This lapbook was used for getting Kassidy to be still and quite at meal time when we are blessing the food..She is not always good at prayer time so this was to make it fun to her and teach her how important prayer is daily..The lapbook is only part of the small picture we were working on something more,...but here is the photos..and links…

Here is the Lapbook I made for the preschool balloon unit. I glued 2 file folders together.
This is a picture of the inside of the first. There are 2 puzzles that are 4 pieces. I also made a game using a balloon trail. The index cards simple have the number on them, when we do the unit he'll attach sticker balloons to each one according to the number written on it.
