This I wanted to do something different with the President holiday. I found it hard to find a particular study on both presdient's together, so I incorporated Lincoln and Washington together in a mini-unit study (with a lapbook). My son enjoyed it so much. After seeing his work all put together neatly in a lapbook, he was glad to share what he learned with his friends and relatives.

Well good morning everyone!
I hope you all had a wonderful holiday, and got to spend time with your children and families. We didn't do anything too spectacular at our house, just a little bit of Coconut Cream Pie (my new favorite) and lots of hugs an kisses :) Isn't that sweet when your children are old enough to come to you and say "Happy Mother's Day" and give you a big kiss....just melts my heart!
