S files & A Great Phonics Program

The files for s are up on the 'share you lapbook' page. Just wondering how anyone is doing with this? Is anyone using anything from it, or doing the whole thing with me? AlphaBugs

Our Little Laplinks theme this month is Bugs and Bees, so we've decided to work on ABC's of Bugs and Insects. However, I'm having a little trouble coming up with a few of the letters! Some of them like Q and X are escaping me...I'd like to stick to bugs or insects ( and not do something like Quiet for Q). So if you've got a knack for finding interesting bugs (that wouldn't repeat any of the others that I have listed) please let me know! ABC's, 123's, and All About Me

I have done 3 lapbooks with my 3-year-old daughter. The first one we did was the ABC's. I googled alphabet pictures and these cut-out shapes appeared, same with the cover. I used velcro to attach to the folder. Behind each picture is the letter that corresponds with the pictire. On each end, I made pcokets to hold flashcards that I purchased at the dollar store. First Pages...

E (4) made a start on her ABC lapbook today (the other girls were out so it was a perfect chance for some Mummy time). She is so keen to learn atm. So we did our Aa pages and she loved it - she loves cutting and sticking so it doesn't get much better than this!! She even managed to hear & sort the different sounds of a, ai and ah - which suprised and pleased us both.
