Character Lap/Notebook

Back in 2008 we started a character unit study.  I got the worksheets here from Lapbook Lessons and the mini books from Homeschool Share. It took us a year to complete but we were able to get a big lap/notebook out of it in return.  Here is the finished look.…

Firefly lapbook

I am doing a lapbook on fireflies and would like to two of the files on the firefly lapbook page, but the files that come up are incorrect. They are the Firefly Vocabulary file and the Bioluminescence Fanbook. Can anyone help.

Minibook Master Template

When I create new minibooks or a lapbook, I use my Minibook Master Template with all my favourite minibooks and my handy lapbook planner. I copy and paste the template I need to my new document and add the activity and websites or links on the planner. It is so quick and handy!

Knights & Castles (Medieval Times) for age 4- 10 year olds

Photos up of our Island of the Blue Dolphin lapbook

I finally added a photo album showing the Island of the Blue Dolphins lapbook we did last year.

We have done lots of lapbooks, but I haven't been so great at taking photos and adding them here. We did little lapbook style reports for our show and tell group, which my boys are entering in the county fair this week. We also did a gardening lapbook to go with planting our garden (which didn't do very well, but hey, it was our first try!) We did a really fun Nutcracker lapbook and a Morse Code… Continue
