Just wanted to say hello and wandering if you had an words of wisdom for a very active 3 yr old boy. He has so much energy and I get so tired with him, but that is my job. I am trying to channel his energy into things that will benefit him in the future. Thanks for any ideas you might have.

It's a good thing I wasn't giving a spelling test with the word 'positive' below. I think sometimes my brain fails me when I have been using it too much, LOL.

Yes, He has :-) I have to give LOTS of credit to hubby too. He does 90% of the garden work these days. We use to work together ALL the time but this year it seems he is getting stuck doing most of it. He LOVES garden work. So do I. It's just this year I decided I really needed to focus 100% on the kids and their schooling. He is all for it. I was soooo behind. Right now the garden it just starting for this year, so I don't have any pics yet but when I do I will put them on my other blog. Thanks for the compliments and comments. I enjoy having someone to chat with :-) I don't like any of the people where I live, sad huh? Lol. I live in a small town and everyone seems very upset and down all the time... there seems to be a lot of problems around here. I try to be a little possitive. Anyway, that's another story :-)

We always plant sunflowers too. The pic is one from out garden a couple years back. They grow really well here. We always have a huge garden, and we surround it with sunflowers to keep the birds from eating some of it. I have to show you a pic from last year, click this one:

Wonder if I did it right?

Thanks for the compliment on our lapbook! I realize next time I would like to have more 'personal' writing included. Maybe a small journal or information page, etc. It was a first though and the children enjoyed it so much! We started a 'frog' lapbook and working on it. Lapbooking is a great tool and so much fun. This will definitely be something we do on a regular basis. Well, bye for now :-)

This is a Kit Kittredge Lapbook based on the Movie that was just released this Fall 2008. Kit Kittredge: An American Girl was based on the American Girl books by Valerie Trip, but I'm not sure how "related" the movie is to the books because we haven't read them yet.
