About Me:

I'm a homeschool mom to 3 great kids ages 3,4, and 6. I'm a big bookworm and so I am constantly reading books on creative learning ideas. I never heard of "lapbooks" before so I am here to get new ideas and how to use this in our daily homeschool life!.

I usually start with a theme the kids are interested in or a book such as a Five In A Row book. then I find ideas for activities etc. online. This site has some downloadable lapbook "templates" and so does homeschoolshare.com. If I do a theme or unit study I try to cover all the acedemic subjects and put an example of those into the lapbook.
Sometimes we do something like a big painting that doesn't fit into the lapbook so I take a picture and paste it in or make a mini-book about an experience. I hope that helps!
