Some of the folders are folded, and some are not. Some are kept unfolded and attached to a side of one of the folded ones. And basically, I just folded so it would fit. There are 5 folders. 3 folded for a normal lapbook glued end to end. And then there are 2 unfolded. 1 is on the cover, the other glued to one of the sides on the inside. . The folders that aren't folded, I cut the tabs off so they fold inside better. Hope that helps.
