Countdown to Christmas Day!

Have you started listening to some Christmas music yet? I started today. Right before Thanksgiving I get in the mood for my favorite time of the year. This is the week we usually begin lots of holiday baking to get in the mood for the season. We will also (for the second time around) begin Advent on Dec. 1st. We had lots of fun doing it last year.

Here is the picture of a homemade tree we used to do our Advent countdown...

On the Chris Columbus~ we used packaging tape to attach the lapbook to the notebook. The tape works great!

We got all the printables from 1+1+1+1. The books of the bible go up to (I think) 1Tim. so you'll have to make the rest. But what a great lapbook to do, Huh!
Have a beautiful day!

Hi, Tajuana. Thanks for stopping by my page. :-) It is a small "cyberworld" after all...I feel a song coming on...with lots of little "dolls" singing all around me as I float in a boat through the whole world in a matter of minutes. I must be having Disney World "flashbacks." :-) LOL

Hello again Valarie. My son enjoyed making the Resurrection Lapbook. It's the second lapbook we've made so far. This week we're working on a Spring Lapbook. Do you know of any free resources on types of flowers, and foods that grow in the Spring as well as something on kites? I would like to add these to our lapbook. Thanks for this informative website. Your lapbook videos on youtube are great learning tools for grown ups ;-)

Glad to hear that you found it okay. There should be 12 Resurrection Eggs, sometimes it decides it only wants to print some of the pages, so go back and just print the pages you missed (you'll have to count and keep track as you scroll down, then in your print options you can select the page you want)

Let me know if that works!

In Christ,

Valerie

Kit Kittredge Lapbook

This is a Kit Kittredge Lapbook based on the Movie that was just released this Fall 2008. Kit Kittredge: An American Girl was based on the American Girl books by Valerie Trip, but I'm not sure how "related" the movie is to the books because we haven't read them yet. The movie was super cute, so we just had to make a lapbook f…
