Anyone done a Guinea Pig Lapbook?
I was wondering if anyone has done a guinea pig lapbook homemade not bought?
I did see one at hands of a child and consider purchasing it due to our busy schedule and not having the time to research to put one together.
I just don't have much time to piece lapbooks together and make things for them. I was so happy to find a CAT lapbook over at homeschool share for it saved us alot of time and putting answers in together made it very simple right now for us and to learn easily.

Digital Camera Down
My digital camera is down.
See...yesterday we celebrated my daughter's Birthday and as I was walking quickly to take a picture of her uncle giving her, her present (which was a new bike) I dropped my Digital Camera (Breaking It!). I was so mad at myself. Thankfully, we did have the video camera we could use and hopefully hubby can help me work it so I can get pictures and video once again but, til then I am down. Our Praying Mantis Egg Hatched!
My daughter and I are finishing up her Ladybug lapbook for July. We stayed with the bug theme due to the Catch the Reading Bug Theme at the library.
We are also working on our Praying Mantis lapbook.
We purchased 2 kits from www.insectlore.com a ladybug kit and a praying mantis kit.
Our ladybug's will be delayed, we won't receive them until sometime in Sept. due to weather conditions and their survival.
But, our Praying Mantis egg has hatched! It's So Cool!

I like google! I just see something, and think hmmm, maybe that would fit with this lapbook. Just ask my husband :D ... my sweet computer tech, backed up my computer today. I have lots of "saved" files, and I organize them, so that when we do a subject, and I think it would go well with it, I can get to it easily :D (that is the goal anyway!) The children are always asking if we can do "this or that" next, so as I "surf"... lol, I do a lot of saving!
Of course, it probably doesn't make much sense to anyone but me. I hope I didn't confuse you too much.
Anyways, if there is a specific subject I can help out on, let me know :D I will try my best.
I don't watch much t.v. so that probably helps, my fun mommy time is spent in research on the web, library, and my own bookshelves :D

I used contact paper to cover it. It works really well :) and adds durability.
The story was actually sequencing cards, and I just drew the yellow Yangtze, and placed them in order to make a story game. The children really like that part of it.
