We've just wrapped up our studies on The Oregon Trail, and I've put together a lapbook to go alongside it! The minibooks would be great for any Westward Expansion Theme, Early American, and Pioneer themes as well.
You can see photos and download the files from this page in our site:…

This is a Kit Kittredge Lapbook based on the Movie that was just released this Fall 2008. Kit Kittredge: An American Girl was based on the American Girl books by Valerie Trip, but I'm not sure how "related" the movie is to the books because we haven't read them yet. We got moved to Illinois and have been here about 2.5 months. We're in Belleville. I'm getting a little bit more familiar with the area. Now where is the church you go to? We would like to come visit and thank your pastor in person for the help he gave us. How are you doing?

I just joined this sight and see your photo on the new members page. Hope all is well! Dory is home and doing great!

How are you?
DId you find anything that would be helpful. I was thinking something like DOC files might work? I found this site that does Doc files where people download the files and then follow the instructions to edit them.
I'm not familiar with DOC files, but if you can figure out how to somehow leave them "editable" then this would be a free way to do it maybe?

I don't know if that's helpful or not?
