Lapbooks in Progress
All three of my school age little ones are each working on a lapbook of Genesis right now. I decided that lapbooking the Bible would be an excellent way for them to really retain what we read. So far we have done:
-a Creation mini-book,
-a sequence book of Adam and Eve's fall
-a snake with a memory verse written on it
-a matchbook that opens with crosswords and word searches of the events with Cain and Abel.
-a family tree to map out the lineage from Adam to Noah.
-an ark shaped flip book of the story of Noah
-A rainbow with memeory verse cloud
-a pop up tower of Babel book
-sentence strips with numbers 1 through 10 written in Spanish, French & Italian.
I am making everything up as I go along as that is my favorite way to teach. °Ü° I am now trying to figure out what all I am going to do with Abraham, Sarah and Isaac. When we finish all of the book of Genesis, I am going to finish up with a time line of the entire book. With doing this very long and huge lapbooking project with the kids, I am finding that they are retaining so much more than they would if we would have just read Genesis.

It's in our Lapbook Videos, as a featured video
You could make a larger scaled one for a bible verse.
Welcome to the group!
