Great! I will probably be working on that dinosaur one also, later on in the year. Right now we are working on a frog lapbook. It is taking longer than the first because we took a break from working on it for a few days :-( We were concentrating on Math for a few days. I am also thinking up some type of math lapbook. I am brainstorming how to have a 'wipe off' section on a lapbook, so the child can answer the word problems or equation, erase it, and redo another time. I don't know. Who knows, I am good at thinking up something, and then getting off on something else!!! Tons of unfinished ideas in this head of mine, lol. Bye for now!

Great! One of the best sites I have found for free lapbooks is homeschoolshare. They have some of the best and a huge selection. Here is the direct link if you think it will be of use to you:

Bees Lapbook

My son made his insect project on bees, partly with encouragement from me since I had the Hands of a Child freebie downloaded awhile back. But then he really got into it. I am surprised by all he knows about bees! He learned much of it from reading the books to himself (he's 7) and watching educational videos about bees. He earned a first place award, 55 points out of 55 points for his visual presentation (including a reenactment of the bee waggle dance with a fuzzy little bee toy) and his expla… Continue

Butterfly and Caterpillar lapbook

Our homeschool co-op has a spring project fair for the students to display something they have learned this year. Some students recite a poem. Others play musical instruments. One even brought in a balance beam to show her gymnastics. For my daughter's project, she and I put together a lapbook on the insect of her choice (since we were studying insects this winter).

Kit Kittredge Lapbook

This is a Kit Kittredge Lapbook based on the Movie that was just released this Fall 2008. Kit Kittredge: An American Girl was based on the American Girl books by Valerie Trip, but I'm not sure how "related" the movie is to the books because we haven't read them yet. The movie was super cute, so we just had to make a lapbook f…
