Eric Carle Lapbook

My first grader is working on an lapbook based on books by Eric Carle. Only wish I had more time to devote to developing this further. I have a ton of great ideas, it's just getting the materials ready for him.

39 Clues Novel Series

I am currently working with a group of 5 boys on making a 39 clues lapbook. We have taken information from the Scholastic website novel study guide and done some vocabulary work, map work, deciphering codes, a brief look at the characters, biography of the famous people in the books, travel brochures for the many places the characters visited. Owls

We are currently working on owl lapbooks and reading a novel that is famous here in Canada "Owls in the Family". I read it when I was growing up. I will try to post pictures. I grabbed some parts from Hands of a Child, and did more myself.
