A really long time!

We have been super busy with Sissy's Alphabet lapbooks that we haven't been visiting over here. I didn't realize how long it has been since until I got an email this morning. Sissy will actually finish up her lapbooks this week. We doubled up the last couple of letters because next Tuesday, Sissy will "unofficially" begin a 4 year old Kindergarten... at home! According to our state laws, Sissy can't start Kindergarten until she is five years old and that won't be until Dec. So I decided that sin… Continue

Look what we did!

I haven't been over here for a while, but we are still working on Sissy's alphabet lapbooks. We are now up to the letter Nn! Today, Sissy painted a newspaper hat after I folded and stapled it together. On one side, I dotted the letter Nn for her to trace with her paint. She loved this! So much that she proceeded to paint the newpaper underneath the hat, the table, her hands and arms! Thank goodness for Crayola's washable paints! We got the directions from here...… Continue
