About Me:: Homeschooling mum, of over 10 years. Homeschooling children ages: 15, 13, 11, 9. We have used lapbooks in the past with the older three children. Wondering if it is time to revisit with my forth.

I am an eclectic homeschooler, heavily influenced by Charlotte Mason, Chris Davis, Marilyn Howshall, Cindy Rushton, and Sally Clarkson amongst others. I choose resources and methods to suit the child and goals that we face.

Our first lapbook for a long time

We are finally starting up with Lapbooking again and I have been so impressed with what is going on with my kids.

Nomi, 11yo, is very arty and has taken ownership of her lapbook, to the point that right now, Saturday afternoon, she is tweaking and decorating and finishing off her writing assignments.

Me and Lapbooks

When I signed up to Lapbook Lessons it was with half a heart, feeling that I "should" be doing more with my kids. Of course, that is never a good feeling to have, never a good feeling to act upon either. Guilt! That's what I would say to other homeschool mums anyway - always harder to listen to the advice yourself.
