Has anyone heard of this system? It sounds really great. It's a great organizational system, which I need :) I noticed that Curriclick sells it. Has anyone out there used it?

We finally finished our Lego Lapbook. This one was difficult, finding all the things to put it together. My Middle Man had a lot of fun with it though. You can visit my profile on this site or visit my blog to see pics.

About Me:
I'm married to a wonderful Christian man and I'm a mother of four boys! One in Heaven, a 6yr old, 3yr old, and 5month old. My days begin with Kindergarten and Preschool with the boys. My youngest decides when we have breaks :) We have lots of fun together.
I love spending time with my boys! It is both challenging and rewarding to be able to stay at home.
This year has been very full for me. The following verse has been my motto this year: I Cor. 22:19

Missing Lapbooking...

I haven't done a lapbook in what seems forever! I'm using the Bob Jones curriculum for my son and I really like it, but it's pretty well planned. It doesn't leave room for extra things like lapbooking or anything like that. I'm already trying to decide what to do about next year. Even though I like the curriculum it seems a bit restrictive. This was my first year, so I wanted a curriculum that I didn't have to plan anything, but next year I wouldn't mind planning a few things to go with the curr… Continue

My Family Lapbook, continued

I've posted a blog before about the beginnings of our 'family' unit. But, since Little Laplinks is doing one on apple/family tree, I thought I'd post again.

We've done a couple of projects since a posted last. Last week we interviewed Nana and Papa and daddy's side. Adam (Adam is my oldest) loves telling storied with his Nana, so he will probably make one into a mini-book. Here are some links that I found:

My Family Lapbook

Hello everyone! :) I hope all of you are having a good school year so far.

As part of our S.S. unit we will be doing a My Family or Family Tree Lapbook. I'm hoping that Little Laplinks does one for the month of Sept. So, all of you go vote, for the family tree:). Anyway, it will be the main part of the unit, mixed in with community helpers(field trips to fire station, that sort of thing). We started out by looking through family albums today. The boys really enjoyed looking at pictures of thems… Continue

Well, yesterday was so easy... My son didn't ask for help and my little girl had something to do and never said, "What can I do now?" which she always asks... And we had our group lessons and I did my son's math lesson without any interruption... I think it is going to be wonderful if this is a hint.. and I use 6 drawers for each child... But I put in a couple of items in some of them...and then in some I put in just a laminated card with an activity on it (I use pictures and words on the cards)...

Yes, I just started doing lapbooking this past year, and my 8yo and 3yo love it! I'm having fun with it, too. We also belong to an Enrichment Class group, where I'm teaching a Creation Science class to Preschoolers, and we will be making several lapbooks to reinforce learning. It's been fun so far!

Hi Amy. I have 6 children. Twin girls age 5, twin boys age 9, girl age 10 and boy age 12. I guess I am busy. But, it doesn't always feel so busy. I have down time. My husband is a pastor at a little mission church where we live. And he is also a teacher at the public school. Pretty neat! Thank you for commenting on my page!

Okay good, try the chat room now. I'm glad you pointed that out, I'm sure it would have been a pretty empty room!
