Good morning Alwyn,
Have you started a blog or wiki yet? If not, I can explain how simple the process is. Great way to share your Lapbook Lessons.
I have been in education over 28 years and designed and administered a charter public homeschool in Central Cal. I taught in the classroom for 9 years but never heard of a Lapbook lesson. I researched the internet and found that priviate homeschools use this model frequently. How long has the idea been around?.

Thank you for the encouragment and the file. I'm always looking for good stuff like that. We had a Developmental Pediatrician visit today. Ethan's diagnosis changed from PDD-NOS to Asberger's Syndrome. God is good and Ethan is doing good.

We are doing well. The recession really hasn't affected us as of yet, aside from groceries being a little more expensive. Have you heard about facebook? My son wanted to get an account, so in order to make sure that it was safe, I got one too and it is fun because you can put pictures on there, and reconnect with old friends, etc. There are some ads on the side that aren't so great, but I think you can get a block so that they don't show. How has your family been? Done any recent lapbooks? We are still working on our Geography ones and our bird ones. They are fun. God is awesome and always in control.
Talk to you soon,
Suzannah

I just realized that I did not answer some of the questions that you asked me before. No, I haven't heard of the BBC videos you mentioned- and we don't use TV for homeschool, although my children have some DVDs they watch to help them with Algebra. We have some videos we watch just for fun like Little House on the Prairie. Do you watch TV?
We are working on the geography lapbooks, but don't have enough to put pics up yet. We had to take a couple of weeks off for vacation. I will get those on as soon as we have enough to take pictures of.

Hi Alwyn!
Loved your hummingbird lapbook! We had someone visit our church
Sunday from India. I was wondering if you've heard of him. His name was Dr. Samuel Lal and he has a ministry called India Every Home Crusade. They go by twos to people's homes to share the gospel with them.
I think it may be based in Napal- but possibly somewhere else, I didn't really catch that.

Well for Shabbat the family goes to church on Saturday. We have Torah study at 11, fellowship with food (oneg shabbat), and then we worship and dance for an hour or so. After that we study the prophets (Haf-Torah) and Brit Hatisha (New Testament). We usually are done by 5pm or so.
On Friday night, if we are home, we light the Shabbat candles, have a meal together, and just spend time together. Mostly we watch movies.
How do you spend Shabbat?
Shabbat Shalom

The pictures of your hummingbird lapbook are great. Is this your first lapbook? I just wanted to say hello and that Sabbath lapbook is taking some time, but it will be done someday soon.
Hope you have a great day!

We just got back from camping so I haven't been on the computer for a few days. Thanks for the butterfly pics- very nice. Becka is the one on the far left in front of the tall girl (Rachael) with the stripped sleeves. Camping was great. I love to be outside! The place we go has a big creek with lots of rocks and a swimming hole. My kids love to play there and sleep in tents!
