The votes are in, and the results have been tallied.....and this month for our April Lapbook, we'll be doing a Rainbow Lapbook!

I'm really excited about this lapbook, because rainbows are such a fun topic....there are avenues to talk about Noah's Ark, Color Theory, and even the Weather so there should be lots of fun topics you can explore with your children!

So to get started with our meme, I'll kick things off by pointing you to the following links.

Color Wheel

Umbrella Sight Words

Rainbow Headband Craft

Rainbow Science Journal

Electromagnetic Spectrum

R is for Rainbow Handwriting Worksheet

Online Prism Science
(use for the file I uploaded to this post)

Rainbow Covenant Bible Verse Code

Books we picked up at the library

I've also just uploaded a free printable you can use for your rainbow lapbook. Attached to the bottom of this post is a Rainbow Prism minibook you can use for your lapbooks.

How to participate:

Search the web and find your links for free resources (if you have the time)Take a second to visit other participants blogs to make sure you don’t duplicate links Grab our graphic, and post your blog entry with your links Come back here and sign Mr. Linky and add a direct link to your blog post (not a link to you hompage on you blog, but a link to your actual post….permalink works and if you need help doing this, just email me) After your child finishes their lapbook, Edit your original blog entry to add your pictures and such. For example see Melissa’s blog entry she did, she added the finished entry to the bottom of the post. When you do this it keeps it easy for people to find your links and your lapbook, and if you do it this way, I’ll be able to archive your link on my site and send even more traffic your way! Then, since you’ve already added your link to Mr. Linky (the permalink to the same post) all you need to do is post a comment and let us all know that your lapbook is finished! And then, we’ll come scurrying by the truckloads to see what your little one did!

We finished our lapbooks! Click the link to see Ainsley's. You'll have to scroll down to the comments to see the pictures, and I loaded them wrong so they're backwards. Oh, well!

Hi Folks,
We are late at getting our Rainbow Lapbook up here. (craziness lately).
We actually started one and it turned out horrible and my daughter lost interest.
Then she seen a rainbow and became interested in once again, so we used many ideas from other ladies but, did give credit where credit was due.
Thanks so much.
