October 2008: My Body Lapbook

Okay, so yes, we're already 10 days into the month of October so this post is a little late, so please accept my apologies, humble ones, because I simply get all excited about our upcoming theme, that I want to make lots and lots of resources for everyone to use, and I get so over planned in everything that I end up posting 10 days late with nothing to show for it.

Alas, I've but one file to share tonight, a cover page for your My Body Lapbook, it's cute though and would make a great graphic to add to any section of your lapbook.

But I do have a slew of links to send you out into the world wide web in search of My Body Printables that you can put together for something unique, creative, and all your own!

Don't forget, with our "My Body" theme you can participate with any kind of focus surrounding this topic......you don't have to do a complete overview of the human body, instead you can focus on one or two body parts, or a particular body system, ect.

For us, we're going to take the "My Body" theme down a notch and focus on our "Five Senses" so I do hope to have some really wonderful resources to share about the five senses soon. We've been using "The Body Book" book which you can check out the amazing Pop-up's my kids have been making during our "Adventure School" This is a picture of the first part we did which was an overview of the five senses, and we're slowly making our way through each sense by doing a pop-up for each one.
