What are your 2009/ 2010 School Year Plans?

Okay, so I want to know......

What Lapbooks do you have planned for this year?

Will you be cutting back on lapbooking, adding more lapbooking, or doing something completely different this year!

Lets see if anyone is going to be working on the same things?

We are studying the Renaissance, Reformation, and Explorers for History this year and will be lapbooking all of that... with a number of purchased lapbooks and some free stuff from online. We are doing Chemistry for science and have lapbook elements for that. We are continuing our Composer Lap-n-note and our Artist Lap-n-note also. I would also like the boys to do a lapbook on one of their personal silent reading books. I am not sure if that will get done this year though because I am on the TOS Homeschool Review Crew and we have sooooo many products to use and review... there probably will not be time for it. If we don't do that this year we will make it a priority for next year! I may just have them do a couple of mini books for a couple of different books they read throughout the year. That would be easier to fit in than one large lapbook on one book. I will just have to see.

I was on the TOS Crew last year. It was fun getting different products to test and give my opinion of it. Most of what we're using this year is what I got from it :) Have fun!!!

I will be continuing with the alpha bugs lapbooks. Will there be any updates on these? If not, where did you get the great pictures?

I'm still trying to nail this year down. For some reason, I haven't really figured everything out. However, we just assembled our Human Body lapbook this week. It is so huge, I really didn't realize how much stuff we did until we put it together. I plan on finishing our Genesis lapbook that we started last year too. That one we have been compiling mini books for way too long. I think we are going to do a space lapbook, but not sure yet.
I guess I am just going to take this year one week at a time.

I do plan on taking pictures this week and posting them.
It is a fun unit and I was able to span all the ages with it.
