OH this would be wonderful! I am 37+ and my mom purchased this for me when I was a little girl (under 10). I remember a lot of the songs. I don't have the tape any more (need to get the cd), but we did purchase the video for the kids.

I don't have any suggestions off the top of my head (it's pretty late), but if I think of anything I'd be happy to share.

Tina,
I sent an email to Agapeland Music Inc to see if using the images from the LP cover and booklet would be doable. I am going with the Fruit of the Spirit angle and adding a section on simple machines... I am tracing the pictures from my LP so when/if I hear back from AM I can scan them and fly with it...
I know the "cover" of the lapbook is going to be the LP art work....

I love the Music Machine! I got the LP when I was 3 and then a cassette when I was 5 and listened to it at least once or twice a day forever. I just bought the cd for the kids. I love the idea of doing a unit study with it. Here is my late night brainstorm session. I hope some of this helps you out.

Health - The fruits. How many we need to eat a day. Why they are healthy.
Music - You could to what makes a song, Chorus, Verse, Bridge. Have them write a song and you have Language Arts too.
Language Arts - Definitions of the Fruit.
Foreign Language - What is Agape? Other words for love.
Math Create word problems like, Herbert collided into 4 ants on the way to the park and 3 on the way home. How many ants did he collide with? or Stevie had 3 things to put into the Music Machine and Nancy had 12 things... well I think you get the idea.
Social Studies I think this is covered with all the Fruit but you can maybe talk about what happens when we walk in the Fruit of the spirit versus when we don't and do a little compare and contrast mini book.
Science I know you already have some plans but for life science you can talk about how a tree bears good fruit.

I hope that gets your brain storming more. What a fun idea! I was planning on doing a fruit of the Spirit lapbook but never thought of doing it to the Music Machine.o

WOW! Love your late night brainstorms.
I have been piecing stuff together a little at a time.. (I'm thinking this will be our second term unit study...)
