Event CalendarOur Event Calendar is looking pretty sad people! This is a great place to share what's going on with your homeschool life! I'd especially love to know when you "Officially" start up your school year...if you haven't already! If you have a sec, post an Event We'd all love to know what you've got planned!

This Month's Featured Member is Faith! Faith is one busy Mama, let me tell ya. When she's not busy being a Mother to her 5 grown children, she's busy working on her Master's Degree, Starting up her own "Homeschool Business" and taking care of her precious niece and nephews. As if that isn't enough, Faith has taken the time to share some wonderful photos of the Lapbooks she does with her nephew, and some wonderful family pictures so be sure and visit her profile page to check those out. Faith also has a personal blog called Wife, Mother, Nanny, where you can read about her daily adventures!

Introducing the First ever......HOMESCHOOL CLOSET GIVEAWAY

After much pondering on what to do with Last Years Curriculum, and other various books I've accumulated along the way, I've decided to host a yearly Homeschool Closet Giveaway. Starting September 1st, I'll begin posting various homeschool books that we no longer have a need for and are offering as a giveaway. So make sure you mark your calendars and read all about the details here.

And if you'd like to join in the fun, your more then welcome. Just choose an item from your closet (something clean and usable of course) and follow the instructions on this page.

If you're going to clean your closet, Don't forget to RSVP in our Event Calendar, so you can let other members know that you've got something to giveaway on your site!

We're revamping our Advanced Lapbook Learners Group! If you use lapbooks with your 5th grade+ child, come join this group and take part in our poll and discussions for what you'd like to see for our Lapbooking with Older children group! I know there are lots of you out there looking to connect and share with other families, we just need to get our act together and create a community for you guys too! As we prepare for our upcoming Kindergarten / First Grade year, I've decided to make use off the ever elusive "MINI-Office" and create something for Sissy (5) that she can use and reference as she completes her daily assignments. So far we've finished 2 of our 4 planned MiniOffices, and there are videos and instructions, links and files for you to make your own Math and Language Mini Office. We hope to complete Geography, and Time/Weather very soon so keep your eyes peeled for those as well. Click here for our MiniOffice resources

Bible Lapbook Updates
