This Month's Featured Member is Caroline Hampton. Caroline joined Lapbook Lessons a few months ago when we were first getting started, and since then she has been very active around here! Thanks Caroline for your participation and willingness to share your creations.....especially those of the printable kind! You may have already noticed her ABC printables in our "Share Your Lapbook" group, if not, be prepared to be amazed! She's going through the alphabet with her children, and sharing her creations along the way!And you can drop by Caroline's personal page where you can see photos of her completed lapbooks (Basic Grammer, Our Body, and Ireland...just to name a few) and leave her a little "Congratulations" comment on her win for this month's featured member!

As a featured member Caroline will receive a $15 gift certificate to www.CurrClick.com, where she can pick up some more great homeschooling resources for her family.

Upcoming LapChat!

Because June 15th is Father's Day, we'll be hosting our monthly LapChat on Monday June 16th, at 8pm Pacific Time. The general topic of discussion will be Minibooks: types and purpose. This will be a nice time to gather together and pick eachothers brains for ideas on presenting the different types of information in our Lapbooks. As always, this is a general topic, and you can come ask other questions as well. We'll also be having a giveaway during our LapChat, at some point during the first hour of the Chat, so you also have a chance to score some more homeschooling resources too! If you'll be attening our June LapChat, please RSVP in our Events Section... (yes, you can come with out RSVP-ing, but this gives us a general idea of who to expect!)

If your looking for a way to keep your children home, Connections Academy can help! Connections Academy is a Free k-12 Public schooling program that students attend from home. They'll provide you with curriculum, software and in some cases even a computer! You can view samples of the curriculum on their website. Connections isn't available in all states, so check availability in your state. Be sure and request your free information packet to learn more about how the free curriculum programs works!

If you haven't already had a chance to check out our Alphabugs printables, now's a great time! We're currently working on adding to Earthworms and Fireflies, so if you're following along with us, you can find some new stuff up here as well.
