Crafts
God Bless America Craft
We did these crafts last year and they were really easy and made some great classroom decorations. You can get full instructions and more pictures from my personal blog here.
Freedom Firework Craft
We also made these firework crafts last year as part of our July activities. They're really simple for children to put together, and make some fun decorations as well. You could easily use string and hang throughout the room. For full instructions and more pictures, check out my personal blog.
American Flag Crafts
You can reproduce this simple craft with construction paper. Cut out stripes and stars and help your child recreate the American Flag. This would make a great cover for your lapbook too!
Minibooks
These are pdf files full of minibooks you can use for your lapbook.
Last year we did a preschool lapbook, and this year we'll be adding
to it a bit more. These new minibooks are helpful for older ages as
well, and can help supplement lapbooks for older children.
