Enthusiasm

This is where you can find information for making your own "Enthusiasm" lapbook. Enthusiasm is a great Character quality and there are so many wonderful examples in the bible of God's people providing support, comfort and encouragement to one another.

For this lapbook, I've decided to focus on Paul, and his work while he was in captivity. Paul wrote many letters to many different churches, in fact up to 14 different books of the bible are attributed to him. (of course the experts argue over a few as to who wrote what....you can check out various encyclopedias and your bible to decide for yourself :) Many times the messages Paul sent in his letters were filled with Enthusiasm and Encouragement for people to stick by God's commandments and not to stray from his word. Some of Paul's letter are very direct and point out how people need to change their views and behavior to bring glory to God, but all the while the underlying message and purpose of his letters are to bring encouragement to his fellow Christians. So that is why Paul, and his time writing letters is the main focus for this Character Study. There are many other stories of encouragement in the bible, and you could easily expand this lapbook.

There are so many helpful resouces on the web, that you can essentially get what you need for free, if you're willing to put in the time to search around a bit! We've done some of that searching for you and have a list of sites that might be helpful for you as you make this lapbook. Also, if you find more that aren't listed, be sure and leave the link in a comment below so we can all benefit from your find!
